The best way to learn Russian with fun is to join International Summer Courses of Russian at Pushkin Institute.

You study in Moscow, travel to other cities, hear Russian speech live, mix up and make friends with the Russians and with students from other countries.

You may choose of one of the following programs:

1. Russian for Beginners (for novice learners).
2. Elementary Russian (for those at level A1 aiming further)
3. Speaking Practice (remedial course in grammar and vocabulary, level B1)
4. Brush up Grammar and Speaking (levels A2, B1, and B2).
5. Advanced Russian  (intensive speaking practice at levels B2 and C1).

6.      Business Russian:

·         Business Russian for beginners (business and commerce, Level A1);

·         Business communication (speaking and writing, Levels A2 and B1) — July and August.

1. Certificates in Russian (preparation for certification tests - in July and August)

Programs:

1.  
   • everyday communication (Levels A1,A2,B1,B2,C1,C2)
   • business communication; (Levels A1,A2,B1,B2)
   • Russian in tourism (A1, A2, B1, B2/C1)

Classes are held 4 days a week, 6 academic hours per day:

·      22 hrs – Language classes (pronunciation, grammar and speaking practice);

·      2 hrs – Electives in Russian language, literature and culture.

·      Wednesday is a sightseeing day (no fee).

Сertificates of Attendance are issued upon completion.

Certification tests can be arranged on request:

1. Russian for everyday communication (Levels A1, A2, B1, B2, C1);
2. Russian for Business Communication. Business and commerce (Levels B1, B2, C1);
3. Russian in Tourism (A1, A2, B1, B2/C1).

To enroll on the Summer Course, you should do the following:

1. Fill out the Application form here and send a copy of your passport to the Institute 2 months prior to the beginning of the course. Please note: Your passport must be valid at least 1.5 years (6 months for EU countries) after the entry date into the Russian Federation;
2. Upon the receipt of the formal letter of acceptance, you need to file visa application with a Consulate Department of the Russian Embassy in your country;
3. In Moscow you will need 3 photos 3X4 cm.
4. Accommodation in the Institute’s dormitory is provided to those who hold academic visas issued at our invitation.

FINANCIAL TERMS

Fees are calculated per person for a 4-week stay. A shorter stay (2 or 3-week program) can be arranged on request. Regular fee includes 24 hour-a-week tuition plus accommodation (shared room with facilities) plus a weekly guided sightseeing tour.

• If you choose to make payment after you arrive at the Institute, you must pay in rubles on the next working day following your arrival:
  • For Programs 1 - 5
    • 24,950 rubles tuition-plus-accommodation
    • 21,850 rubles without accommodation
  • For Programs 6 and 7
    • 26,340 rubles tuition-plus-accommodation
    • 23,250 rubles without accommodation

·         Registration fee is 20 Euros payable after arrival.

DISCOUNT POLICY

• If you pay by bank transfer till March 01, 2011 the sum payable is:

·       485 Euros – for Programs 1 - 5

·       520 Euros  – for Programs 6 and 7

From March 02 through May 01, 2011 the sum payable is:

·       545 Euros – for Programs 1 - 5

·       575 Euros  – for Programs 6 and 7

If you wish to pay by bank transfer make a note of it in the applicable form. We will send you a contract, which you will have to sign and return to us by email. Thereupon you can make payment as per bank account details stated in the contract. Please, note that the bank commission is payable by the sender!

·      Groups of students (20 and above) coming on prior agreement and scheduled for training of the same duration (3 weeks or longer) will be granted a 10% discount.

·      Registration fee for groups of students (20 and above) coming on prior agreement and scheduled for training of the same duration (3 weeks or longer) is 10 Euros per person.

·      Students who show their student card of the previous stay at Pushkin Institute will be granted additional 3% discount when making payment at the Institute!

Extras:

• Medical insurance — 20 Euros per month (in rubles at the exchange rate on the date of payment);
• Transfer from the airport or railway terminal
  • by car (up to 3 students)

800 rubles for the car (from the train station),

1,740 rubles for the car (from the airport),

  • by minibus (up to 15 students) – 6,100 rubles,
  • by bus (up to 50 students) - 7,200 rubles.
• Optional bus/train tours to other Russian cities – as charged by the tourist company

Single accommodation is possible based on vacancies in the dormitory. Please request in advance.

• Single accommodation in a two-room block — surcharge of 8,300 rubles;
• Single accommodation in a one-room block — surcharge of 12,300 rubles
